Kriss Harvey is a renowned American pastry chef, recognized for his expertise in fine chocolate and patisserie.
With over 20 years’ experience to his name, he has worked in some of America’s finest establishments, including the Ritz Carlton in Washington, NoMi at the Park Hyatt Chicago, Bartolotta Ristorante Di Mare at the Wynn Resort in Las Vegas, and most recently José Andrés’ The Bazaar at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills.
Currently pastry chef at Butterlove & Hardwork in Los Angeles, he is renowned for his innovative creations and exceptional skills.
Kriss Harvey began his culinary career working in prestigious restaurants and patisseries.
He refined his fine patisserie skills in Europe, especially in France and Spain, where he learned from world-renowned master chocolatiers and patissiers.
He has also provided consulting services for dessert menus across the country.
It is Kriss Harvey’s aspiration to keep exploring new techniques and flavors, along with educating the new generation of pastry chefs.
He is passionate about expanding the boundaries of traditional pastry making and delivering memorable taste experiences.
In 2017, Kriss Harvey was named one of the top 10 pastry chefs in the United States by Dessert Professional Magazine.
Over the course of his career, he has won high praise from his peers and numerous awards for his contributions to the art of pastry making.
He was a finalist in Pastry Live’s “Chocolatier of the Year” competition and was named one of the “Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America” by Dessert Professional Magazine.
