Thibault Marchand, a renowned pastry chef with a passion for challenges, has made his mark on the world of patisserie with his exceptional skills and competitive spirit.
With no less than 15 competitions under his belt at just 30 years old, Thibault Marchand loves a challenge, and is known for his determination and perfectionism.

Born and raised in Amiens, north of Paris, Thibault first discovered his passion for pastry making as a child, cooking with his grandmother.
He studied at the IREAM pastry school, where he perfected his skills.
His first big success was winning first prize in a competition for “Gâteau Battu”, a traditional brioche from the north of France.
Driven by the pursuit of excellence and perfectionism, this talented young man moved to Miami at an early age to develop a branch of the famous “Hugo et Victor” patisserie, before moving on to the Kimpton Fitzroy in London.
Back in France, he opened his own pastry consulting business in October 2022, later that year becoming Corporate Chef and Technical Ambassador for Les vergers Boiron.

Thibault Marchand has held the position of World Corporate Manager and Technical Ambassador for Les vergers Boiron since 2022.
His expertise and creative spirit have made a major contribution to the company’s success.
As well as representing the brand on the international gastronomic scene, Thibault Marchand develops innovative new recipes and runs training courses and workshops for pastry professionals around the world.He also offers technical support to customers, helping them to incorporate the brand’s products into their culinary creations.
Working alongside the R&D team, he is involved in developing innovative, high-quality products for chefs around the world.

Thibault Marchand finds inspiration in his childhood and his love of traditional French patisserie.
His grandmother, who taught him to bake apple pie, remains a major influence.
Thibault Marchand is renowned for his rigorous approach and commitment to natural, high-quality ingredients.

  • His finest (and most celebrated) victory was in the “British Bake Off: The Professionnals” in 2019, which he won with his partner Erica Sangiorgi.
  • Soon afterwards, he was shortlisted for the “Olive Chef Awards” magazine in the “Best Pastry Chef in the UK” category!
