Mads Kilstrup Kristiansen is a talented Danish pastry chef, born in Horsens, Denmark.
He is currently Head Pastry Chef of the Formula B group, a gastronomic collective that runs several establishments in and around Copenhagen, including gourmet and bistronomic restaurants as well as a seaside restaurant in Sletten, on Humlebæk Harbour.

Having completed his confectionery training at Schweizerbageriet in Aarhus and his bakery training at Guldbageren in his hometown, Mads quickly made his mark in competitive baking.
He won the Gold Medal at Denmark’s Young Bakers in 2008 and 2011, and was voted Denmark’s Best Dessert in 2011, as well as Best Cake in 2013 and 2014.

He is currently Head Pastry Chef of the Formula B group, which runs several gourmet and bistronomic restaurants in Copenhagen, as well as a seaside restaurant in Sletten, on Humlebæk harbor.
These establishments engage in ecological practices, sustainable development and animal welfare, with a simple, dogma-free culinary approach, offering a wide variety of options to their customers.

Passionate about his craft, Mads regularly takes part in cooking shows, including Sukkertoppen on TV2 Denmark, where he combines pastry challenges with entertainment.
With his expertise and creativity, Mads Kilstrup Kristiansen is a major figure in modern Danish patisserie.

Mads Kilstrup Kristiansen has also represented Denmark on several occasions at the prestigious World Pastry Cup in Lyon, where he won the prize for Best Sugar Sculpture in 2015, and where his team finished tenth in 2017 with a theme inspired by the Harry Potter universe.
