At Les vergers Boiron, fruit is our passion. We want to offer responsible fruit products that care for people, nature, and living things. With this in mind, we are developing specific approaches to guarantee that our flavors are free from pesticide residues.

      Our goal is to have 80% of our range free from pesticide residues by 2030.

A rigorous protocol to guarantee excellence

Our “Pesticide residue-free” approach is based on a strict control protocol to offer our customers complete transparency and the guarantee of healthy products. This rigorous process comprises several steps:

  • For each product batch to qualify for this claim, a representative sample is taken from the production lines for analysis.
  • These samples are sent to an independent laboratory accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 standards and COFRAC, ensuring impartiality and scientific reliability.
  • A comprehensive analysis of more than 700 active substances is carried out.

 

The “Pesticide residue-free” claim is applied to the flavor when finished product analyses show that the levels of each tested active substance are below the quantification limit (generally set at 0.01 mg/kg , but may be lower).

The ranges in question are easily identified by the “Pesticide residue-free” logo, which appears on the relevant product pages on the website and on the technical data sheets. Such transparency helps customers make informed choices.
