The blood oranges used in this puree come from Sicily, where they are grown on volcanic soils, giving them a unique and intense flavor.
The characteristic red color of the puree is due to anthocyanins, natural pigments present in the fruit. This puree perfectly reflects the typical blood orange note, with a fruity and slightly tangy flavor.
