Originally from France, Mike Faleme trained and gained solid experience behind the bar before becoming a rising star on the Lyon scene. After serving as operations manager at Le Groom, a bar renowned for its lively atmosphere and creative cocktails in Lyon, he came up with a more free-spirited and contemporary concept: Contrast, a cocktail and tapas bar in the heart of Lyon’s Presqu’île district.
Today, Mike Faleme runs Contrast, a cocktail bar that has become a staple of Lyon’s nightlife, combining creative drinks, musical ambiance, and conviviality. With Contrast, Mike breaks the rules of the traditional speakeasy to offer a comprehensive experience where taste, music, and conviviality come together. His approach is inspired by an urban and festive spirit, blending exotic influences, musical sensations (house, soul, deep house), and a cocktail menu designed for both lovers of daring creations and those seeking a friendly and accessible experience.
