The Dark Red Plum fruit puree is made from Dark Red plums sourced in Lorraine, an ideal region with its clay-limestone soils and temperate climate, characterized by cold winters and mild summers. The relocation of Dark Red plums from Serbia to France helps reduce the carbon footprint by half. Harvested mechanically from mid-September, these sweet and tangy Dark Red plums are processed within 2 days of picking, and their pits are repurposed into plant-based gravel.

The Les vergers Boiron Dark Red Plum puree, made from fully ripe fruit, offers a slightly tangy and naturally sweet taste. Its freshness is enhanced by subtle floral and sugary notes, reminiscent of candy.

The Les vergers Boiron Dark Red Plum puree is distinguished by its dark red color and semi-thick, smooth texture.

In order to maintain all the sensory qualities of our product, Les vergers Boiron recommend to defrost the product in its original closed packaging, at 35/+39°F. To unmold or cut your frozen purée easily, we recommend one of the following methods: remove the lid, do not remove the protective seal and leave the tray at room temperature for 5 minutes; or leave the lid and protective seal on, run the tray under lukewarm water for 30 seconds at least before removing the lid and protective seal. Defrosting and storage after defrosting are the user’s responsibility and must be done in accordance with good hygiene and HACCP practices.
