Julien Perrinet, Executive Pastry Chef at the Grand Hyatt in Taipei and Brand Ambassador for Les Vergers Boiron, brings together passion and expertise to create truly unique taste experiences around the world.
Julien Perrinet, Executive Pastry Chef and Baker at the Grand Hyatt in Taipei and Brand Ambassador for Les Vergers Boiron, was born in Brittany in 1982.
After a distinguished academic training at the Lycée de Boulangerie et Pâtisserie St. Joseph in Concarneau, he began his career under the mentorship of Bernard Ganachaud, the renowned Meilleur Ouvrier de France.
Julien Perrinet has since traveled the globe, forging his culinary reputation in Montreal, Qatar, the Maldives, and across Asia as a consultant.
Since 2015, he has managed a team of 40 people at the Grand Hyatt Taipei, where he brings together French culinary techniques with local Asian flavors.
He expresses his creativity with visually impressive creations, such as monumental macarons and life-size gingerbread houses.
Selected as one of the top chefs for the 2019 Best Chef Awards, Julien also coaches Team Taiwan at the Pastry World Cup, lending his talent to create unforgettable culinary experiences around the world.
Since 2024, Julien Perrinet has also been the Corporate Hyatt APAC Pastry Chef.
Julien Perrinet is renowned for his expertise in combining French culinary techniques to create classic textures and visually striking creations, adapting his recipes to suit Asian palates and using local ingredients such as matcha, red beans and sesame.
His philosophy is founded on innovation and aesthetics, transforming each dessert into a genuine work of edible art.
