The Fabre estate, located in the Gapeau Valley between Hyères and Toulon in the Var department, produces Solliès figs, which have been AOC certified since 2006 and AOP certified since 2015.
This collaboration, which has been ongoing for more than 20 years and spans two generations, is emblematic of Les Vergers Boiron’s philosophy with its preferred suppliers, based on three key words: terroir, trust, and exchange. As you will see in this video, every effort is made to guarantee optimal fruit quality each year, respecting quality criteria such as BRIX (sugar content) and cooling and freezing processes to prevent oxidation and maintain the fruit’s original color. These figs are therefore “tailor-made” for the sugar-free purées produced by Les Vergers Boiron.
