Peng Cheng is a prominent figure in French patisserie in China, recognized for her leadership and influence in the culinary industry.
As founder of the La Belle Vie pastry school in Changsha and ambassador for premium brands such as Les vergers Boiron and Cacao Barry, she epitomizes innovation and excellence in the art of pastry making.
Born in China, Peng Cheng began her career studying at the École Ferrandi in Paris in 2007, where she trained under some of the greatest names in patisserie, including Pierre Hermé.
She also worked at the Michelin-starred Auberge des Templiers restaurant in Boismorand, France.

In 2011, her passion for French pastry inspired her to return to her homeland and open her first boutique and La Belle Vie pastry school in Changsha, Hunan province.
Since its inception, La Belle Vie has become an internationally renowned training center, with more than 4,000 pastry chefs trained, many of whom have gone on to become top industry professionals.
The school hosts Masterclasses, exhibitions by pastry chefs and raw material suppliers, as well as an annual competition for French-speaking pastry chefs since 2017, attracting talent from around the world.
At present, Peng Cheng is also working with a supermarket chain run by the Alibaba group to open bakery spaces.
Their goal is to build a distinctive brand that offers high-quality bakery products throughout China, enriching the culinary experience for consumers.
As an ambassador for Les vergers Boiron and Cacao Barry, Peng Cheng plays a major role in promoting French culture and culinary excellence in China.
She developed her own line of chocolates, PengCheng’s Favorites, and is an active member of the World Chocolate Masters jury in China.
Peng Cheng is widely recognized for her influence in China’s pastry and gastronomy sector, actively helping to promote education, innovation and high standards in the industry.
